Atlanta Braves 10, LA Dodgers 1

The Braves scored 8 times in the 2nd inning and blew out the Dodgers. Jaret Wright (12-6) pitched very well. He pitched 7 innings allowing 3 hits, a run, no walks, and 7 strikeouts.

Every starting position player for the Braves had a base hit. Chipper Jones hit his 22nd home run. Marcus Giles, JD Drew, Julio Franco, and Eli Marrero were all 3 for 5. Charles Thomas was 2 for 4 and Chipper was 2 for 5.

The Braves salvaged a split with the Dodgers. They're off tomorrow, and they host the Rockies in a 3 game series beginning on Tuesday. The Braves lead the Marlins by 7 and a half games.
